Our crab is delivered live to a Mi'kmaq - First Nations owned processing plant where it is immediately processed to maintain peak freshness and quality.
Live Nova Scotia Snow Crab is cleaned, cooked in fresh water, and then frozen in a super-chilled salt brine solution. From the moment the crab enters the state-of-the-art processing plant, to the moment it is securely packed frozen in the shipping box, is approximately 60 minutes, guaranteeing a premium product will get delivered to your table.
